We could have used that money for;
- 6 Commonwealth Games, or
- 456 Chandrayana Missions, or
- Defense budget for 2011-12

Behead him. >:)

I say because in other spaces as of late I've seen a lot of angry opinions on how corrupt politicians and businessmen get away with their abuses and robberies. Not re. India, but re. USA or Indonesia or...

Anyhow, I have much better ideas than wasting the money in Commonwealth Games or ("god forbids", as they say) in the military. What about schools, sanitations, public housing, land reform?

That we can complain after we use the money for the items I mentioned.

If the money were coming from Indian companies, then I guess that was a good thing. For all that lakh crores might only be misspent, with very little of that actually reaching the aam aadmi!
Infact, there is a greater chance that the money in the hand of the robber baron capitalists might be put to more productive use than a corrupt or even decent government.

I have chosen the items that every leftist argues do not help common man but only beneficial to capitalists. Think of hundreds of capitalists benefiting from this money instead of 4-5 capitalists.
