How to fry without oil?

I don't know. I just want to check how many hits I get for this topic.

Use butter. It's worse for cholesterol but is much less likely to sprinkle around - the resulting flavor is also sweeter.

Indeed, whatever you use just don't call it 'oil'. Problem solved.

You guessed it right. Cholesterol is not our concern but oil is :-)! But I suppose clarified butter; also, "extra virgin" coconut oil probably okay for deep frying.

Just bake it. I make my koftas by baking. It has come out good and is much healthier compared to frying.

I think my stupid question is the result of an unreasonable desire for an uncompromising approach. An alternative approach gives a feeling of an artificial gratification.
